Property Hunters Had Options. The Website Made Them Work Too Hard.
DMCI Homes needed its website to help buyers move through a large property portfolio without losing context or confidence.
The existing website made it difficult to navigate a large property portfolio. Visitors needed a faster way to discover relevant developments, understand current availability, and compare possible units before contacting the sales team.
The redesign therefore had to do more than modernize the interface. DMCI Homes needed an information architecture built around visitor behavior, better search and comparison tools, relevant property recommendations, and a technical platform capable of keeping availability information useful.

The Results
The Website Was Reorganized Around How People Choose Property
Customer-centric UX Design
We used visitor behavior to identify how property hunters and unit owners moved through the existing website. The research showed that people needed faster access to relevant developments, clearer inventory information, and tools that reduced the work of comparing possible homes.
The information architecture and search experience were restructured around those tasks. Visitors could move from broad property discovery to suitable options with fewer detours, while improved content and interaction design made important details easier to scan.
Website Innovations
A virtually live availability summary gave prospective buyers a current view of units that could still be considered. Geography-based targeting showed properties aligned with a visitor’s preferred or current location, helping narrow a large portfolio into a more relevant starting set.
Property Comparison
We also enhanced Compare Properties so visitors could assess available units side by side. This reduced the need to remember specifications across separate pages and helped buyers evaluate fit before sending an inquiry.
The implementation used Symfony, connected APIs, and AWS cloud infrastructure to support the experience. Together, the research, redesigned property journey, availability data, and comparison tools created a more useful website for buyers and owners. DMCI Homes subsequently reported higher inquiry volume, more unique page views, longer average visits, and a lower bounce rate. The website also earned Gold at the 2019 Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards for innovation and easier access to information.
