Critical Information Was Available on the Website. Finding It Was the Problem.
AboitizPower served several stakeholder groups with very different information needs. Raters and insurers needed access to ESG initiatives. Shareholders needed current market information and historical performance. Other visitors needed public documents, company updates, and clear explanations of the business.
The existing website had to make this growing volume of information easier to find, particularly on mobile. The newsroom needed stronger engagement, and the homepage navigation had to reflect the pages visitors actually used instead of forcing them through the company’s internal structure.
The project therefore required more than a visual refresh. AboitizPower needed a research-led information architecture, a faster customer experience, and a content-management system its internal team could operate efficiently.

The Results
The Website Was Rebuilt Around Stakeholder Questions
Stakeholder & Competitor Benchmarking
We began with conversion research, usability testing, competitor benchmarking, and an analytics review. The work identified the pages people visited most often, where they went after the homepage, and which information mattered to distinct stakeholder groups. These findings became hypotheses for the redesign rather than assumptions based on aesthetics.
Web Analytics & Infrastructure Review
The team reorganized the information architecture around stakeholder needs. Priority routes to ESG initiatives, investor information, public documents, and the newsroom became easier to find from the homepage. Search behavior and competitor patterns also informed improved filtering and clearer result categories.
A mobile-first interface then brought the new structure to life. Featured content surfaced the company’s most important programs, while dedicated environmental, social, and governance pages made AboitizPower’s initiatives easier to explore. The Investment Highlights experience displayed current stock-market information and linked visitors to historical performance, giving shareholders a more useful destination than a static corporate page.
Custom CMS for Stakeholder Requests
We also built a tailored content-management system for AboitizPower’s internal team. A graphical page builder allowed content managers to assemble pages from predefined widgets and preview changes while editing. This gave the business a repeatable way to publish new sections without rebuilding page layouts from scratch.
The strongest part of the project was the connection between external experience and internal operations. Visitors received faster access to information, while AboitizPower gained a more manageable platform for keeping that information current.
