Job Description
The UI/UX designer focuses on creating user-friendly and visually appealing digital products by designing both the user interface (UI) and the overall user experience (UX)
UI/UX Designer responsibilities include gathering user requirements, designing graphic elements and building navigation components. To be successful, he/she must have experience with design software and wireframe tools, both in web and mobile applications. Ultimately, he/she creates both functional and appealing features that address our clients’ needs and help us grow our customer base.
Job Responsibilities
As a Jr. UI/UX DESIGNER, he/she is expected to perform the following duties;
- Gathers and evaluates user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
- Illustrates design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps
- Develops user flows to map out the step-by-step journey users take within a product
- Writes user stories that define user goals, needs, and pain points
- Collaborates with product managers to align user flows with business objectives
- Designs graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs, and widgets
- Builds page navigation buttons and search fields
- Develops UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
- Develops intuitive, usable, and engaging interactions and visual designs for mobile.
- Creates original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
- Prepares and presents rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
- Identifies and troubleshoots UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
- Conducts layout adjustments based on user feedback
- Adheres to style standards on typography, colors, and images
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams throughout the design process
- Participates in the development process from definition, through design, build, test, release, and maintenance.
- Stay abreast of UX trends and look for creative ideas and inspiration in parallel analogous worlds.
- Researches and tracks advancements in web and mobile application design patterns.
- Break any design problem down into viable actionable chunks and solve them with clarity and precision.
- Stays in the loop and on top of the latest standards, changes, trends in the web and mobile design field.
- Utilizes AI-powered design and productivity tools responsibly to improve workflow efficiency, ideation, research, content generation, wireframing, and design exploration
- Reviews, validates, and refines AI-generated outputs to ensure originality, usability, brand alignment, and business relevance
- Applies critical thinking when using AI-assisted workflows and avoids overreliance on generated solutions
- Documents and communicates AI-assisted processes transparently when applicable
- Continuously explores emerging AI tools, automation workflows, and best practices relevant to UI/UX design and product development
- Reports to the Chief Innovations Officer and/or Business Unit Head.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree graduate, preferably IT, Architecture, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
- At least 1 or 2 years of working experience
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development methodologies

Type of Skills and/or LICENSING/CERTIFICATION Required:
- Strong graphic design skills, with a good understanding of typography, intuitive layouts and palate development.
- Strong ability to recognize and predict use-cases and user interaction, including happy path, edge and corner cases, and incorporate them into designs.
- Excellent understanding of user-experience design for mobile and the web, technology trends, demonstrable design skills, and ability to show relevant work.
- Knowledge of wireframe tools (like Balsamiq, sketch, figma, miro, Adobe XD)
- Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe XD, Sketch, Zeplin. Knowledge and/or experience with Figma is a plus.
- Proven ability to deliver high quality designs to customers.
- Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, Product Designer, or similar role with a strong portfolio showcasing one’s work.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Experience with prototyping tools (e.g., InVision, Axure, or Marvel).
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, usability best practices, and responsive design.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS and design implementation process is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and explain design concepts to non-design stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Deep understanding of Apple’s human interface design guidelines, Android design and other mobile platform designs, including Google’s material design.

Working Conditions
Hybrid Set-up: Monday-Friday Only
Daytime shift: (8 AM – 5 PM or 9 AM – 6 PM)
